1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Fully Catholic Radio Android mobile application (“the App”), published on Google Play by FullyCatholic.
FullyCatholic is committed to respecting the privacy of users of the Fully Catholic Radio App and to being transparent about how information is handled when listeners use the App.
The Fully Catholic Radio App is primarily designed to allow users to listen to the Fully Catholic Radio internet radio stream and access related station functionality.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use the App, why that information is used, how it is handled, and the role of third-party service providers involved in the operation of the App.
2. Information You Provide to Us
The Fully Catholic Radio App does not require users to create an account.
Users are not required to provide FullyCatholic with a name, username, password, postal address, telephone number, or other personal account information in order to listen to Fully Catholic Radio through the App.
3. Device or Other Identifiers
The Fully Catholic Radio App may collect or process device or other identifiers, including an Android Advertising ID where available.
According to the App’s current data-handling configuration, this information is:
- used for App functionality;
- required for the relevant functionality of the App;
- processed ephemerally, meaning that it is processed only as necessary to provide the relevant functionality and is not retained longer than necessary for that real-time processing;
- encrypted in transit; and
- not declared by the App as being shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
The App’s current Google Play declaration identifies Device or other IDs as the user-data category collected for App functionality.
4. Advertising ID
The current version of the Fully Catholic Radio App includes functionality or third-party software that may access the Android Advertising ID.
The Advertising ID is declared for App functionality.
The App is not currently declared in Google Play as using the Advertising ID for advertising or marketing, personalization, analytics, developer communications, account management, or fraud prevention.
The presence of an Advertising ID permission does not necessarily mean that FullyCatholic uses the identifier to serve personalized advertising.
5. Third-Party Services and Technology Providers
The Fully Catholic Radio App uses technology and services provided by third-party service providers, including FastCast4U / FastCast DWC-LLC, to provide radio streaming and related application functionality.
Third-party software development kits (“SDKs”), libraries, hosting providers, streaming infrastructure, or other technical services incorporated into the App may process limited technical information necessary to provide their services.
Such third-party providers may operate under their own privacy policies and data-handling practices.
FullyCatholic does not sell users’ personal information.
6. Internet Radio Streaming
When you listen to Fully Catholic Radio through the App, the App must communicate over the internet with servers and services necessary to deliver the radio stream.
As with ordinary internet communications, technical information such as an IP address and basic connection information may necessarily be processed by internet, hosting, streaming, content-delivery, or other technical service providers in order to establish and maintain the connection.
FullyCatholic does not use the App to create individual listener profiles from this information.
7. How Information Is Used
Information processed through the Fully Catholic Radio App is used as necessary to:
- provide and maintain App functionality;
- connect the App to the Fully Catholic Radio stream;
- enable audio playback and related radio functionality;
- maintain the technical operation, reliability, and security of the App and associated services; and
- provide functionality made available through third-party technology incorporated into the App.
8. Data Sharing
The current Google Play Data Safety declaration for the Fully Catholic Radio App does not declare Device or other IDs as being shared with third parties.
FullyCatholic does not sell personal information obtained through the Fully Catholic Radio App.
Technical data may nevertheless be processed by service providers acting as part of the infrastructure necessary to operate and deliver the App and its services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
9. Data Security
The Fully Catholic Radio App’s current Google Play Data Safety declaration states that user data collected by the App is encrypted in transit.
Reasonable technical measures are used by the App and its service infrastructure to protect information transmitted in connection with the operation of the App.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
The Fully Catholic Radio App does not provide user accounts and does not require users to create an account in order to use the radio service.
The App’s current Google Play Data Safety declaration states that Device or other IDs are processed ephemerally. This means that such data is processed only for the time necessary to provide the applicable functionality and is not retained beyond what is necessary for that real-time processing.
Because the App does not provide user accounts and the declared Device or other ID data is processed ephemerally, the App does not currently provide an in-app mechanism for users to request deletion of account data.
Where technical information is independently processed by third-party infrastructure or service providers, the retention and deletion practices of those providers may also apply.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Fully Catholic Radio App is a general-audience Catholic radio application and is not designed for the purpose of collecting personal information from children.
FullyCatholic does not knowingly use the App to solicit personal information from children.
If we become aware that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner inconsistent with applicable law or this Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate steps to address the matter.
12. External Links
The Fully Catholic Radio App may contain links to FullyCatholic websites, social-media platforms, streaming services, or other external websites and services.
When you leave the App and visit a third-party website or service, that third party’s own privacy policy and terms apply.
FullyCatholic is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of websites or services operated independently by third parties.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Fully Catholic Radio App, its technology providers, applicable laws, Google Play requirements, or our privacy practices.
Any updated version will be published on this page with an updated Last Updated date.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
