Our Gift – Jesus Became Flesh

By becoming flesh, Jesus made us “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Pet 1:4). “The Word became flesh so that man might become a Son of God” (St. Irenaeus). “For the Son of God became man so that we might become God” (St. Athanasius). Jesus “assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods” (St. Thomas Aquinas)

Do we truly understand what God is offering?  But first we must remain in his Love.  We must be one with Jesus and the Father.  We must be servants of all and become Love itself.
