The ever beautiful “Ave Maria”, composed by Christopher Phillips, and recorded in two (2) languages – Latin and Spanish.
Ave Maria – which means “Hail Mary”, is taken from the very popular Catholic prayer by the same name “Hail Mary.” It has its roots in the Gospel and the words are:
Hail Mary, full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
The “Ave Maria” is this prayer sung generally in Latin.
