Living The True Catholic Faith

Catechism Corner

Who are the main witnesses of the obedience of faith in the Sacred Scripture?

There are many but two really stand out: The first is Abraham who, when he was put to the test, "believed God" (Romans 4:3), and was always obedient to God's call. This is why he was given the title "the father of all who believe" (Romans 4:11).  The second person who really stands out as a witness of the obedience of faith is the Virgin Mary who throughout her whole life, embodied perfectly the obedience of faith: "Let it be done to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38)

Reverence For Mass

We are losing that sense of reverence for the Holy Eucharist by the way we rush in and out of Mass, the way we dress for Mass, the use of cell phones during Mass, among other things. Do you agree?
